Óstán Loch Altan, situated in Gortahork, North West Donegal, is a 39 en-suite bedroom hotel. It is named after Loch Altan, a lake situated at the foot of the northern slopes of nearby Mount Errigal. Gort a'Choirce, meaning field of oats, is in the heart of the Donegal Gaeltacht. The Wild Atlantic Way passes just outside our front door.
The bar of the hotel is known as Teach Pháidin. Here, at the end of the day you may join the ceol, caint agus craic. Alternatively you can soak up the relaxing atmosphere of the hotel lounge.
Óstán Loch Altan has a large function suite, 400 seating capacity and is a popular venue for weddings, concerts, shows etc. The hotel is also a popular choice for residential courses.
